Vin de Garde AnimationBusiness Need: The Vin de Garde club offers Ontarians a completely novel means to purchase wine. Members receive email notification of a monthly selection of wines, most not available at the LCBO. Logging into the website, members access information about the wines and the number of bottles available. Orders are processed on the website with a real time inventory display and payment processing system. Up Marketing was commissioned to develop a cohesive brand for the club as well as to market the club to potential members.

What Up Marketing did: Up Marketing designed a template for the database-driven website, the logo, and developed the tagline. Once up and running, Up Marketing promoted the club with a postcard insert in Vines Magazine, a follow-up print ad and a direct email campaign that visually presents the benefits of joining the club with an animation, which will also be displayed on the website.

The Result: Response has surpassed expectations and the current challenge is to manage supply so as to keep up with the rapid growth of the club.
